Who we are

Mobile Clutch Repair ("we", "us", "our") is a mobile clutch repair and replacement service operating across Essex, Kent, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and London in the United Kingdom. What data we collect

We only collect data you give us directly. When you submit our contact form or call us, we may collect:

• Your phone number
• Your location (postcode or town) so we can confirm we cover your area
• Your vehicle make and model
• The message or description of the fault you provide

We do not collect payment-card details on this website. Payment for completed work is taken in person on the day of service.

Why we collect it (lawful basis)

We process your data on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR Article 6:

• Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) — to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, schedule the work, and complete the repair.
• Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — to follow up on quotes, process warranty claims, and keep records of completed work for our own legal and accounting requirements.

Who we share your data with

We share your data only with the third parties that help us run the service:

• Resend — delivers the email we send ourselves when you submit the contact form. Resend acts as our data processor under UK GDPR.
• Vercel — hosts this website. Standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps) are processed for security and uptime purposes.

We never sell your data, and we do not share it with marketing companies, advertisers, or any other third party for commercial purposes.

How long we keep your data

Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Records of completed jobs (invoices, vehicle details, work performed) are kept for 6 years to meet HMRC tax requirements and to support our warranty obligations. After that period the records are securely deleted.

Cookies

This website does not use marketing or advertising cookies. We use only strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function (for example, the contact form's anti-spam protection). No tracking pixels, no third-party advertising, no behavioural profiling.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Have your data erased (where we have no overriding legal obligation to keep it)
